Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated PR and Communication Intern to assist in managing BJS’s public relations and communication efforts. This position offers hands-on experience in drafting press releases, managing media outreach, assisting with internal and external communications, and supporting the development of BJS’s brand messaging. The intern will help enhance BJS’s presence across media platforms while contributing to its mission of social development.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
- Support the development and execution of PR campaigns to enhance BJS's brand visibility.
- Monitor media coverage, track press mentions, and assist in compiling media reports.
- Help with outreach efforts to media outlets, journalists, and influencers to foster relationships.
- Assist in preparing briefing materials for key organizational events and spokespersons.
- Research potential media partners, organizations, and collaborators for outreach opportunities.
- Support the planning and execution of events and conferences, ensuring smooth communication

processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication

channels.
- Assist in preparing internal communications and coordinating with team members on PR strategies.
- Help in measuring the impact of PR campaigns and communications activities.

Job Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to draft press materials and

communication content.
- Creative mindset with an ability to craft compelling stories and messages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- A passion for public relations and communications with a focus on social development initiatives.
- Eagerness to learn and gain experience in PR, communication strategies, and media relations.
