Music Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning & Instruction**:

- Develop and implement **age-appropriate** music lesson plans.
- Teach students **music theory, notation, rhythm, and ear training**.
- Introduce various **musical instruments**, vocal techniques, and composition skills.
- **Practical Music Training**:

- Provide hands-on instruction in **playing instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, percussion, wind instruments)**.
- Train students in **singing techniques, choir, and ensemble performances**.
- Foster creativity through **songwriting, improvisation, and music technology**.
- **Performance & Event Coordination**:

- Organize and direct **school concerts, recitals, and musical productions**.
- Prepare students for **competitions, examinations, and public performances**.
- Coordinate with school staff to integrate music into **school events and assemblies**.
- **Student Assessment & Progress Tracking**:

- Evaluate students through **practical performances, quizzes, and projects**.
- Provide feedback on technique, expression, and musical development.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different **learning styles and abilities**.
- **Instrument & Classroom Management**:

- Maintain **musical instruments, sheet music, and classroom materials**.
- Teach students how to care for and handle musical instruments properly.
- Ensure a **safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment**.
- **Technology Integration in Music Education**:

- Use digital tools such as **music software, recording apps, and interactive learning platforms**.
- Incorporate **modern music technology and production techniques** into lessons.
- **Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Work with **other teachers, school administrators, and external music professionals**.
- Stay updated with **trends in music education, new techniques, and teaching resources**.
- Attend **workshops, music training programs, and educational conferences**.
- **Parental Communication & Community Engagement**:

- Provide parents with **regular feedback on student progress**.
- Encourage parental involvement in **music events and performances**.
- Organize **community-based music programs or outreach initiatives**.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
