**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver music lessons aligned with the school curriculum and students’ needs.
- Teach music theory, notation, rhythm, and harmony.
- Provide vocal training and teach musical instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, violin, or others based on expertise.
- Introduce students to different musical genres, cultures, and traditions.
- **Student Development**:

- Assess and nurture students’ musical abilities and creativity.
- Prepare students for school functions, competitions, recitals, and exams (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM, or equivalent boards).
- Encourage student participation in choirs, bands, orchestras, or other musical ensembles.
- **Performance Preparation**:

- Organize and lead rehearsals for school events like assemblies, annual functions, and cultural festivals.
- Coach students for solo and group performances.
- **Classroom and Instrument Management**:

- Maintain a safe and engaging environment conducive to learning.
- Care for and maintain musical instruments, ensuring they are in working condition.
- Help students understand the correct handling and maintenance of instruments.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:

- Conduct periodic assessments of students’ musical progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and individual support to help students improve their skills.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**:

- Organize music-related clubs, workshops, and activities to foster a love for music.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into cross-disciplinary projects.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies in music education.
- Attend training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance teaching skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
