The Digital Producer is the key owner and liaison through all functional areas of project management, and engages on projects through content planning, content creation, author management/relations, production, rights and permissions, customer acceptance and archive. The Digital Producer executes on the delivery of all assigned program components and project tasks over the entire program lifecycle (initiate, plan, build, execute, control, release). The Digital Producer is accountable to deliver high quality, commercially successful digital programs on time and within budget.

As a core member of the Science Media team, you will be expected to work autonomously and deliver on project phases on time and on budget. We will help you achieve your goals by continuous professional development and regular progression sessions.You will work with teams thatare located inseveral global locations and thus may work off hours from time to time to accommodate other teamsworking hours.

**Responsibilities**:
Project Management
- Overseedevelopment ofdigitallearningproducts(assessments, videos, interactive pieces, simulations),for the HigherEducationsciencemarkets,in coordination with book development,to make media an integral part of the book story.
- Scope, budget and manage resources on projects from concept to launchwith responsibility for schedule, budget, riskand quality management.
- Partner withCommercial Product, ContentStrategy,Marketing,DesignandTechnology teamsto develop products accordingly.
- Guide vendor decision,create Requestsfor Proposals (RFP),solicit bids from vendors,and write contracts.
- Hire and manage cross-functional teams, including vendors, content-providers, freelancers, project management vendors and quality assurance vendors.
- Ensure products adhere to project plans and meet Pearson standards and requirementsfor efficacy and accessibility.

Qualifications:

- 3+yearsof experience in a digital creative production role, with2yearsspecifically producing educational softwareand managing cross-functional teams
- Mastery of complex content and scheduling systems, and ability to track large amount of information
- Experiencemanaging medium and large projects usingproject management tools
- Proven ability togain consensusamong stakeholders and tointeract with internal departments using professional interpersonal skills andsolutions-orientedapproach
- An understanding of technical product management including products usingJavaScript,HTML, XML, CMS, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent workexperience required
