**Job Description: Jewelry Merchandiser**

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Oversee the entire jewelry inventory, including selection, ordering, and stock management.
- **Merchandising Strategies**: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- **Market Analysis**: Analyze market trends and consumer demand to identify opportunities and optimize product assortment.
- **Sales Support**: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide product knowledge and support for effective customer engagement.
- **Event Participation**: Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase our jewelry collection.
- **Industry Insights**: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and market trends.
- **Vendor Relations**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries.
- **Product Sourcing**: Travel to various states to research new jewelry trends, identify potential suppliers, and source unique pieces.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in jewelry merchandising or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and product presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel for trade shows and sourcing trips.
