**Overview**:*

As a Cutting Machine Operator specializing in panel saw operation at Decotales, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining panel saw machinery to accurately cut various materials used in interior design projects. Your role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components that meet client specifications and design standards.

**Responsibilities**:*

1. *Operation of Panel Saw:

- Utilize panel saw machinery to cut materials such as wood, laminate, plywood, and other substrates according to design specifications provided by the design team.

2. *Material Preparation:

- Prepare materials for cutting by selecting appropriate stock, setting up the panel saw for accurate cuts, and ensuring proper alignment and positioning of materials on the cutting table.

3. *Precision Cutting:* Perform precise and accurate cuts using the panel saw, adjusting settings as necessary to achieve the required dimensions, angles, and finishes specified in design plans.

4. *Quality Assurance:* Conduct regular inspections of cut pieces to verify accuracy, quality, and adherence to design requirements. Identify and address any defects or discrepancies in the cutting process promptly.

5. *Maintenance and Calibration:* Perform routine maintenance tasks on panel saw machinery, including blade changes, lubrication, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

6. *Safety Compliance:* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating panel saw machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly store materials and tools, and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

7. *Collaboration:* Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project specifications, timelines, and material requirements. Communicate effectively to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of cutting tasks.

8. *Documentation:* Keep detailed records of materials used, cutting specifications, and production processes to maintain accurate inventory and facilitate project tracking.

**Requirements**: *

1. Able to work OT when required.

2. Able to read technical drawings will be an advantage.

3. Able to handle work independently and efficiently.

4. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.

**Qualifications**:*
- Previous experience operating panel saw machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings, blueprints, or cutting templates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Knowledge of various materials used in interior design, their properties, and appropriate cutting techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
