A sales executive's responsibilities include:
- Sales strategy: Researching, planning, and managing the sales strategy for an organization
- Client relationships: Identifying new prospects, developing relationships with clients, and maintaining customer relationships
- Sales presentations: Demonstrating and presenting products or services to clients
- Sales negotiations: Negotiating contracts and packages with clients
- Sales meetings: Conducting sales meetings with clients in person or virtually
- Sales reporting: Reporting on sales performance monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Sales records: Maintaining accurate records of clients and sales
- Sales events: Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events
- Sales support: Providing after-purchase customer service and following up on product or service issues
