The Signage Estimator is responsible for determining the pricing of signs through the assessment of labor and material costs associated with their manufacture and installation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Specific Responsibilities
- Prepare work for estimation by collecting proposals, blueprints, specifications, and relevant documents.
- Determine labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolve discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information.
- Present estimates by organizing and presenting numerical and descriptive data.
- Generate special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain a database of cost information by entering and backing up data.
- Stay updated with technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as required.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Three to five years of prior experience in a custom manufacturing environment; familiarity with architectural sign estimating is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting and perform well under pressure.
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills when interacting with vendors and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 4:30 AM.
