Analyses specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
- Analyze the requirements & specification of the Project.
- Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
- Computes cost management activities viz. cost factors, estimation etc... and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work; selecting vendors or subcontractors by determining cost effectiveness.
- Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
- Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.

**Responsibilities**:

- Visit for techno-Commercial discussion with customer / on site, Attend Pre bid Meeting (as per requirement).
- Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.
- Analyses completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
- Prepare BOM & conduct comparative analysis of estimates / costs.
- Preparation of tenders & submission of bids.
- Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Identifies cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.

Job Specifications:

- Desirable experience in cost management, engineering drawings & specifications, sheet metal / fabrication from panel manufacturing Industry, production / material control software system, assembly techniques.
- Working knowledge of cost calculations methods, manufacturing process & budgets / financial forecasts.
- High proficiency in computers viz. using MS Office & Auto Cad.
- Must have strong organizational skills, problem solving abilities & attention to details.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
