**Job Summary**:
Analyses specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Analyze the requirements & specification of the Project.

2) Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.

3) Computes cost management activities viz. cost factors, estimation etc... and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work; selecting vendors or subcontractors by determining cost effectiveness.

4) Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.

5) Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

6) Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.

7) Visit for techno-Commercial discussion with customer / on site, Attend Pre bid Meeting (as per requirement).

8) Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.

9) Analyses completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.

10) Prepare BOM & conduct comparative analysis of estimates / costs.

11) Preparation of tenders & submission of bids.

12)Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.

13) Identifies cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.

**Job Specification**:
1) Desirable experience in cost management, engineering drawings & specifications, sheet metal / fabrication from panel manufacturing Industry, production / material control software system, assembly techniques.

2) Working knowledge of cost calculations methods, manufacturing process & budgets / financial forecasts.

3) High proficiency in computers viz. using MS Office & Auto Cad.

4) Must have strong organizational skills, problem solving abilities & attention to details.

5) Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
