Job Title**:Interior Cost Estimator**Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Cost Estimation**: Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior design projects, including furniture, fixtures, materials, finishes, labor, and installation costs.
- **Vendor and Supplier Coordination**: Source and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials.
- **Budget Management**: Monitor project costs throughout the design process and provide regular updates to the project manager and design team. Make necessary adjustments to maintain budget integrity.
- **Project Planning**: Collaborate with the interior design and project management teams to understand project scope, timelines, and specific client requirements.
- **Value Engineering**: Recommend cost-effective alternatives to meet client budgets without compromising on quality or design aesthetics.
- **Tendering and Bidding**: Assist in preparing tender documents, reviewing bids from contractors, and evaluating bids based on costs and quality.
- **Cost Analysis and Reporting**: Perform ongoing analysis of project costs and provide reports on cost trends, potential savings, and areas for improvement.
- **Documentation and Compliance**: Maintain accurate records of cost estimations, contracts, and project-related financial documents.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential cost risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in cost estimation, ideally within the interior design or construction industry (minimum 3-5 years).
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of cost estimation software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend), Excel, and other project management tools.
- **Understanding of Materials and Finishes**: In-depth knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furnishings, and their costs.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to work with precision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to propose cost-effective solutions without compromising on design quality.
- **Certifications**: Certifications in cost estimation or project management (e.g., AACE or RICS) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with sustainable design and cost-efficient materials.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with interior design trends and innovative materials.

Work Environment:

- Full-time position.
- Work is primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
- Occasional travel to meet suppliers or visit project sites.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
