Position Overview:
**We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. The Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting with various accounting functions, including manual bookkeeping, invoicing, billing, tracking accounts receivable, and utilizing Tally software for financial reporting. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting within a creative and dynamic environment.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manual Bookkeeping:

- Record financial transactions accurately using manual bookkeeping methods.
- Maintain ledgers and journals.

2. Invoicing, Billing & Tracking (Accounts Receivable):

- Generate invoices for goods or services provided.
- Track payments received and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Maintain records of accounts receivable.
- Handle GST, IGST, and OGST procedures, including preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining accurate tax records.

3. Proficiency in Accounting:

- Understand fundamental accounting principles.
- Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

4. Proficiency in Tally:

- Utilize Tally software for accounting purposes.
- Enter financial transactions into the Tally system and generate reports.

5. Analytical Skills:

- Capability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address financial issues.

**Requirements**:

- Completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, BCom Hons, BBA, BA Eco Hons, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Tally software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address financial issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in accounting is preferred (1 year).
