Accounts Receivable (AR) is a critical function in any organization, responsible for managing and collecting payments from customers. Here are the key roles and responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable professional:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoicing and Billing: Creating and sending invoices to customers for goods or services provided.

3. Account Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account information, including contact details and payment history.

4. Collections: Following up with customers to collect overdue payments, including sending reminders, making phone calls, and negotiating payment plans.

5. Dispute Resolution: Resolving discrepancies or disputes related to customer accounts, including investigating and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

6. Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the accounts receivable process.

7. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Credit Management: Evaluating customer creditworthiness and making recommendations for credit limits and terms.

2. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

3. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve the accounts receivable process, including streamlining procedures and implementing new technologies.

4. Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, including sales, customer service, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Accounting and Finance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including financial statements and accounting software.

2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with customers, colleagues, and management.

3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve complex issues.

4. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

5. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, including accuracy and attention to detail in processing payments and maintaining customer account information.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
