- **Menu Planning**: Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes.
- **Inventory Management**: Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory for the section.
- **Training**: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cuisine and Tandoor techniques.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- **Communication**: Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain all department equipment and report any malfunctions.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff.
