**Shipping Operations**:Plan and coordinate sea freight shipments, including container bookings, cargo loading, and vessel scheduling.

Monitor and track shipments to ensure they adhere to schedules and meet customer expectations.
Resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or customs clearance problems.
- **Carrier and Supplier Management**:Negotiate contracts and rates with ocean carriers and shipping suppliers.

Select the most suitable carriers and service providers based on cost, reliability, and transit times.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:Ensure all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, export/import permits, and customs paperwork, is accurate and complete.

Stay current with maritime regulations and trade laws to ensure compliance in all shipping activities.
Handle any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications required for sea shipping.
- **Cost Management**:Develop and manage budgets for sea shipping operations.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce transportation expenses.
Analyze shipping costs and performance metrics to optimize logistics processes.
- **Risk Management**:Assess and mitigate risks associated with sea shipping, such as weather-related disruptions, piracy, or port strikes.

Implement safety and security measures to protect cargo during transit.
**Supply Chain Coordination**:Coordinate and oversee all activities related to the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and transportation.
Monitor and track shipments, orders, and inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- **Order Processing**:Process and manage customer orders, including order entry, order confirmation, and order fulfillment.

Ensure accurate and on-time order processing and delivery.
Resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.
- **Inventory Management**:Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory checks.

Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- **Transportation Management**:Arrange and coordinate transportation services, including selecting carriers, scheduling shipments, and tracking deliveries.

Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
Handle shipping documentation and customs clearance processes, if applicable.
- **Communication and Reporting**:Communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to provide updates on order status and resolve issues.

Prepare and maintain reports related to logistics performance, such as on-time delivery metrics and inventory turnover rates.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and import/export regulations.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
