1. The Laboratory Sales Representative markets sell, and promotes the organization’s services exclusively to prospective clients to enhance the company’s growth, and expansion and increase net revenue.
2. Develops and maintains client satisfaction by providing product expertise & communication.
3. Responsible for achieving annual sales and profit objectives for a defined territory based on marketplace conditions and existing infrastructure.
4. Assesses and communicates changes to sales director market dynamics including competitor dynamics, industry trends, and payor trends.
5. Assists Sales & Marketing in developing new sales strategies and tactics to combat competitor value propositions.
**Qualifications**
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales objectives.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organized, with attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree from college or university.
- Minimum 1 year of outside sales/service experience in the healthcare/clinical laboratory industry is also preferred.
- 50% to 75% travel required.
