Looking for an experienced Executive Chef a Multi Cuisine 90 cover restaurant. Job summary: - Cooking and preparing high quality dishes. Create menu, recipes and develop dishes. Supervising all kitchen stations and subordinates.
- Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation, production, management and trainings for kitchen staff
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production
- Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
- Supervises and coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications especially Nutritional value ,diet food etc..
- Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met
- Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints
- Assure kitchen personnel is trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
- Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
- Encourages and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation between the team members.
- Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- Hires and trains new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards and SOP.
- Food menu creation(Variety,Tasty,Diet..etc)
- Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
- Knows and implements the brands safety standards.
