**Description**
**Brief Job Overview**
This is a non-supervisory position to provide operations and project management support for USP’s Materials Program.
The incumbent will be responsible for completing operational aspects of the program, including coordinating internal resources and vendors to build the SKUs of the product line with prompt turnaround on vendor quotes, PO creation and execution, developing and reporting metrics regularly to monitor production pipeline, and play a central role in improving the overall operations process.
The incumbent will work closely with the business unit lead and program management function within USP.
**How will YOU create impact here at USP?**- Coordinating internal resources and vendors to build the SKUs of the product line and for the flawless execution of orders.- Maintains relationship with USP-India synthetics team and external suppliers on operational aspects, working closely to achieve on-time delivery of PAI products and resolves logístical and other operational bottlenecks.- Works closely with business unit head and product management lead to select suppliers, from approved external suppliers and USP-India synthesis department, for new PAI products to be added to the product line.- Reports out progress of each order from order placement through to delivery.- Track operational and logístical metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for the bottlenecks.- Monitor dwell times in each stage of different process flows and make recommendations to continually improve where needed.
**Who USP is Looking For?**- Minimum of three to four years of experience supporting project execution, from information gathering to stakeholder coordination.- Minimum of three to four years of experience in roles that involve rigorous inter-departmental coordination, and vendor management or managing external contacts.- Experience creating and tracking Purchase Orders (POs).- Diligent in follow through on many simultaneous requests with internal and external stakeholders, and holding those accountable.- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (working with functions, pivot tables, data visualization).- Experience creating and maintaining dashboards (Excel, Tableau, AchieveIt, or other platforms).- Self motivated to work at a reliable pace and escalate issues appropriately.
