**Job Title**: Principal - Residential School for Girls

**Location**: Kolkata

**Role Summary**:
The Principal will be responsible for leading the **operations, academics**, and **overall development** of a **residential school for girls**. The role demands an inspiring and visionary female leader with a strong passion for **rural education**, **girls’ empowerment**, and **institutional growth**, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative Leadership**
- Manage daily operations of academic and residential life.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and statutory regulations.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluation of school staff.
- Prepare and monitor school budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee infrastructure maintenance including hostels, classrooms, dining, and recreational areas.

**2. Academic Management**
- Implement curriculum in alignment with educational standards and school vision.
- Regularly evaluate teaching methodologies to ensure effective instruction.
- Monitor student performance through regular assessments and reviews.
- Encourage and support professional development and training for teaching staff.

**3. Student Welfare & Pastoral Care**
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for adolescent girls.
- Oversee residential life, ensuring students’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
- Implement behavior and discipline systems along with student counseling support.
- Organize leadership and empowerment programs specifically designed for girls.

**4. Stakeholder & Community Engagement**
- Establish effective communication with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with local communities, NGOs, and education bodies for outreach and partnerships.
- Represent the school at external forums, education conferences, and government events.

**5. Strategic Planning & Institutional Development**
- Define and implement the school’s vision, values, and long-term goals.
- Drive innovation in academic and co-curricular programming.
- Lead change management, growth, and transformation initiatives.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Deep commitment to rural education and girls’ empowerment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a residential or rural school setting.
- Strong communication, people management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali is preferred.

Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
