**Rice PFN Executive**

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
Responsible for Pre-Foundation Rice Increase for India, to ensure quality Prefoundation seeds for pipeline and commercial parents to support on readiness of parents as per the Hybrid advancements

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for multiplication of Commercial and pipeline parents under controlled conditions to ensure highest genetic purity
- Monitors pre-foundation farms in condition to meet multiplication plans
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of the crop to enable needs while meeting foundation production metrics for his/her target lines
- Identify & drive projects relevant to process improvement across Prefoundation and execution with the project team members for proper implementation
- Support Continual Improvement Projects related to PFN process.
- Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
- Responsible for Contractual Resource plans for Pre foundation field operations, guide and monitor the contractual resource for getting timely work done
- Partner with crop Breeders for joint evaluation of the parental lines multiplied in Prefoundation to maintain the Genotypic and Phenotypic characters
- Nursery data maintenance & analysis related to pipeline products for appropriate advancement decisions
- Adherence, implementation of company Quality and HSE standards to meet targets and audit requirements
- Ensures all operations are compliant to internal Bayer requirements and local regulations
- Implement and participate in community and sustainability engagement activities

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- University degree (Masters in Agriculture /equivalent )
- 3-5 years experience in Seed Production (Preferred Genetic & Plant Breeding experience)
- Cross-functional collaboration & communication
- Determination to develop, direct, and motivate employees
- Ability to take initiative and responsibility
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- External Stakeholder Relations
