The Apps Support Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams. **Responsibilities**: - Supports Daily Root cause Analysis of production incidents for accounting process within the process handled. - Assists in the management of work load planning, reports, procedures or products knowledge base - Take responsibility for the accuracy of data analysis standards for balance sheet reconciliations on Citi daily and Monthend Production process - Identifies and resolves problems using independent judgment for assigned business Incidents - Implements work flow or process change and redesign basis strong basic understanding of the Genesis Production Environment. - Able to articulate own process along with its key controls and support reasoning with appropriate evidence in assigned area of work. - Communicate with Global L3 teams across multiple locations on the status of the Incident Root cause Analysis - Identify and appropriately highlight / escalate potential issues relating to Incidents with stakeholders - Utilizes understanding of concepts and data Mappings within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact on own area. - Applies understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives. - Provides guidance to lower level analysts. - Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams. - Directs day-to-day work of junior level employees. - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup Good to have - Structured Query Language Skills - Data Mining and Data Analysis Skills - Knowledge of Abnitio, Informatica, Relational Database Tools Min Technology Qualifications: Min 4-8 years of experience in Sql, ETL and Relational Databases Min 4 years of experience in Data Investigation, Data Focused and Support Roles. **Education**: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Applications Support - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
