Scrum Master

**Global Functions Technology (GFT) - GRCT - Global Risk & Control Technology** is responsible for managing risk, control, compliance systems while addressing regulatory uncertainty and has emerged as one of the most critical areas of business operations for Citi. **Job Description**: focuses on helping businesses take a more holistic view of risk - one that allows Risk Managers to manage, measure and actively mitigate risks taken by the firm. Mandatory Technical Skills: - Guide the team on using Agile/Scrum principles. - Very good knowledge of software development life cycle - Facilitating various scrum ceremonies like Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, daily scrum meetings. - Supporting Product Owner, especially in grooming and maintaining the product backlog. - Ensuring the scrum team is productive and focused on Sprint and Project goals - Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. - Assisting with internal and client communication improving transparency and propagating information. - Responsible for reporting team and project status - Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and with an emphasis on problem-solving - Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. - Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment, and increasing transparency. - Should demonstrate continual improvement by challenging status quo - Knowledge of Estimation techniques applied in Agile projects - Knowledge of other Agile approaches: Kanban, is nice to have - Should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, CI/CD, Pairing, Automated Testing - Knowledge of various performance metrics like Team velocity ,Burn down/ Burn up charts, Lead Time and Cycle Time **Qualifications**: - Overall at least 7+ years of experience with 3+ years in scrum master / agile practice. - Must be CSM or PSM certified - Experience in project management using agile methodologies, estimation - Requirements elicitation and analysis - Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: JIRA, Service now, confluence, Microsoft Project and all Office Tools - Ability to proactively call out issues and risks and provide solutions - Consultative & Solution-oriented - Ability to propose design and development approach. - Understand and appreciate solution frameworks and architectures - Prefer developer background, tech savvy - Support presales initiatives in estimation - Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills - Good to have Safe Agile practitioner Others: - Ability to work in continuous integration setup - Demonstrates good analysis, collaboration, and problem solving - Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Risk Management qualification ideal but not required - Industry standard certifications such as data management or data modeling tools will be an advantage. - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Business Analysis / Client Services - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
