Introduction:
The core responsibility of the role is the efficient operation of Group wide regulatory & Financial reporting systems.
The role further acts in capacity of a key focal point for liaison with the businesses as well as the key contacts within the group regarding this regulatory & Financial reporting tool as well as escalations of key issues and appropriate governance.

What will you be doing?
- Acts as the first escalation point for technical/business teams in support of the daily production run processes
- Work closely with the teams to achieve Quantitative and Qualitative targets specified by the Businesses.
- Establish innovative systems and procedures for handling data & reports and continuously improvise on them
- Publish meeting packs, data points, etc. and take lead in discussing the same with key stakeholders; help facilitate key decisions on run cycle and best practices
- Analysis of extensive data points/reports that includes exception reporting on regulatory/financial numbers from business. Also, publish reasons of failure with a remediation plan after detailed investigations.
- Manage stakeholder expectation for regulatory/financial change projects
- Act as the liaison between business, technology and project to drive BAU change deliverables
- Analyse the changes and create/make necessary amendment to business logics for the change proposed
- Co-ordinate with development, Project & Business teams to keep a track of progress

What we’re looking for:

- Strong academic background - 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution
- Business Analysis & change management experience
- Comprehensive financial & regulatory domain knowledge, particularly in areas of reporting, effective presentation skills, managing voluminous financial & regulatory data, identifying and solving data quality issues
- Good Analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and balance priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent team player with the ability to also work independently when required

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Should have excellent inter-personal and communication skills: strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Working Knowledge of SQL’s
- Basic understanding of Advance Excel & Macros
- Understand Banking specific accounting concepts
