Introduction

The role of Support Manager is to understand user issue and identify bugs in the system. Design, build and manage bug and change request for GMD on an E2E basis that enables both Model Owning Areas and the Model Risk function to evidence validation of all Models before going in use in production.

The specific purpose of this role is to support the team to facilitate the end to end delivery lifecycle and help work on the redesign of the product including focus on Usability, User Interface, Workflow Simplification and how to delivery consistently excellent outcomes for the User base. Also to contribute the data structure / database for streamlined MRM reporting from GMD

The role holder will develop a good understanding of both Model Risk and Product Management as well as building up knowledge of Agile methods and tools and Business Analysis.

What will you be doing?
- Extensive coding in ML, Advance Analytical packages in Python. Should be able to solve complicated business problem using Python, Alteryx etc.
- Engagement with stakeholders to understand key business requirements that need to be addressed, supporting identification of options for consideration, and recommending optimal solutions covering workflow design, user interface and usability.
- Ensure that any changes delivered in the platform are aligned to the Model Risk policy and related standards.
- Supporting the GMD team on different deliverables while working closely with Agile scrum master and developers on sprint planning, testing and releases.
- Backlog Refining, Defects prioritisation, Reviewing Root Cause Analysis and managing business escalations.
- Resolve complex requirements and arranging 3 amigos workshops involving meetings with the product team, developers, and business users to establish clarity on the scope of the change.
- UAT testing to make sure proposed changes are correctly implemented in production.
- Sufficient experience in Data understanding / handling and manipulations, database management and development from scratch, data control and its importance

What we’re looking for:

- Sufficient experience in Data understanding / handling and manipulations, data control and its importance
- Experience in UAT with familiarity/awareness of Agile delivery methods, techniques and tools
- Technical Experience
- Significant hands-on experience in Python, Alteryx, Tableau coding and build algorithm to solve complicated business problems. In addition, Excel - VBA and PowerApps experience is also required.
- Experience in Data understanding / handling and manipulations - complex analysis with Data
- Functional Experience
- Basic understanding about Risk, system process flows, Awareness of reporting and Data Visualization tools
- Experience in speaking to end users to gather requirements. Gap analysis and traceability matrices.
- Conceptual thinking - Ability to think strategically and ability to focus on the whole portfolio of MRM activities. Tracking action items and deliverables for both users and technical teams
- Communication - Strong communication skills with the ability to package ideas and results in a logical, understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.
