Statutory Tax Compliance: - Labor and Tax Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and related taxation requirements, including the timely payment of statutory contributions like Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance (ESI), and other mandatory taxes for factory employees. - Tax Registration & Licenses: Manage and renew all necessary tax registrations, including GST, Income Tax, and local government registrations, to ensure the factory operates within legal requirements. - Statutory Filings: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all necessary statutory documentation and tax filings, including income tax returns, GST returns, and other regulatory reports. - Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize detailed records related to tax filings, payments, and compliance documentation to ensure readiness for inspections and audits by tax authorities. 4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: - Collaboration with HR & Legal Teams: Work closely with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely TDS deductions for factory employees. Collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to taxation and labor laws. - Tax Compliance Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to departments, especially HR and finance, to ensure adherence to tax and compliance regulations. 5. Stakeholder Reporting: - Compliance Reporting to Management: Regularly report the status of tax compliance, including updates on GST filings, income tax obligations, and any compliance issues that need attention, to senior management. - Audit and Inspection Handling: Address and resolve issues raised during audits or inspections related to tax compliance.
