**Key Responsibilities**
- **Implementation of Quality Standards (NQAS, LaQshya, KAYAKALP)**:

- Assist health facilities within the block in adopting and adhering to quality standards as per NQAS, LaQshya, and KAYAKALP guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with program protocols in key service areas.
- **Support to Health Facility Staff**:

- Provide continuous support to health facility staff (CHCs, PHCs, HWC ) in implementing quality initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of facility staff for internal and external assessments under NQAS, LaQshya, and KAYAKALP.
- **Capacity Building & Training**:

- Organize and facilitate capacity-building training sessions for hospital staff to improve their understanding of quality standards.
- Conduct regular refresher courses and on-site mentoring to improve quality improvement measures.
- **Quality Assessments & Gap Analysis**:

- Conduct periodic assessments of health facilities using approved checklists.
- Identify gaps and develop action plans to address areas of improvement for NQAS, LaQshya, and KAYAKALP certification.
- **Coordination and Support for Accreditation Process**:

- Support health facilities in preparing for internal and external audits/assessments for accreditation.
- Facilitate interaction between assessors and health facility staff to ensure smooth assessment processes.
- **Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Monitor the progress of quality initiatives at health facilities and maintain detailed records of activities.
- Submit regular reports to the District Quality Coordinator and MOIC on quality improvement progress and accreditation status.
- **Data Management & Documentation**:

- Ensure proper documentation of all processes related to quality initiatives at the block level.
- Regularly update NQAS/LaQshya/KAYAKALP scorecards and maintain accurate data records for each health facility.
- **Engage and Assist in Public Health Meetings**:

- Facilitate quality-related meetings such as Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), Quality circle committee and JAS meetings and follow up on action plans.
- Engage with community-level stakeholders for awareness on quality health services and clean practices.
- **Technical Support for Certification Maintenance**:

- Provide ongoing technical support to health facilities to maintain their accreditation status post-certification.
- **Any Other Responsibilities Assigned**:

- Undertake any other task as assigned by the District Quality Coordinator, Block Medical Officer, or the project team for quality improvement.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**

**Qualifications**
- **Essential**: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Health Management, or Nursing.
- **Preferred**: Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Public Health, or a related field.

**Experience**
- **Essential**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality management or public health.
- **Desirable**: Experience in implementing quality standards such as NQAS, LaQshya, KAYAKALP, NABH, or ISO 9001:2008.

**Skills and Competencies**
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards in healthcare, specifically NQAS, LaQshya, and KAYAKALP.
- Strong facilitation and mentoring skills to guide health facility staff.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, in English and Hindi.
- Ability to conduct audits, analyze gaps, and recommend action plans for quality improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with government officials, facility staff, and the community.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in process documentation.

**Travel Requirements**

The Block Quality Coordinator may be required to travel within the block/district as necessary for on-site support and facility assessments.

This TOR provides a clear outline of the role and responsibilities of the Block Quality Coordinator in improving healthcare quality at the block level. By supporting the implementation of NQAS, LaQshya, and KAYAKALP programs, this role plays a key part in enhancing the quality of care and achieving national accreditation across public health facilities

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
