1. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce risks.
6. Collaborate with management, employees, and regulatory agencies to address safety concerns and ensure compliance with regulations.
7. Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
8. Stay current with developments in safety regulations, technologies, and best practices.
