ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Product & Data related knowledge base content
- work in the Front lines as needed when T1 team understaffed. own and work escalated cases from the T1 team
- Technical support on customer queries related to product functionality.
- Technical support on customer queries related to Services (hosted and non-hosted).
- Extended support on the customization and escalation to the Professional services team.
- Extended support on the environment hosted in SRE production and escalation to the Application Services team.
- Documentation and handovers on the best practices, a knowledgebase for FLS, OPS team.

ROLE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Excellent understanding of financial markets.
- Project management experience.
- Logical and methodical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking, infrastructure, and associated protocols
- UNIX or similar command-line experience (desirable)
- Be a team player with the ability to work effectively across multi-discipline teams in a global setting
- Technical Background: Data management/architecture experience, Java, Application Server, distributed cloud-based architecture, Rest API/Webservices, and SQL
- Troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to solve technical challenges
- Hands-on experience with Tools used for Log Monitoring & Analysis

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years industry experience or industry degree a plus (required for some positions in EA)
- Understanding of Windows & MacOS
- Basic knowledge of call logging systems and VOIP phone systems. Any experience with Salesforce & JIRA a plus.
- Knowledge and work experience using and working within Windows and Unix servers (TR)
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle SQL and database servers. Working experience of any of these database technologies would be an advantage. (TR)
- Experience on Jboss, Wildfly and Docker would be an added advantage. (TR)
- Experience with industry software - Petra, PHDWin, Aries, GeoGraphix would be an advantage (EA)
