**Job Purpose**

To lead and manage the sales and estimation function by distributing inquiries, preparing accurate project cost estimates, maintaining strong client and vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless handover to execution and production teams. The role is essential for driving revenue growth and aligning project execution with business objectives.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Distribute sales inquiries among team members for timely assessment and follow-up.

2. Prepare and send project cost estimates to clients based on technical and commercial requirements.

3. Guide and mentor the estimation team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.

4. Coordinate with vendors to align on material costs, technical specs, and terms of delivery.

5. Follow up with clients to resolve queries, ensure engagement, and convert inquiries into orders.

6. Negotiate pricing and terms with clients and close deals effectively.

7. Handover project details, including documentation, to execution and production teams for implementation.

8. Act as the communication bridge between clients and internal teams during project execution.

9. Conduct project kickoff meetings, handover meetings, and maintain Minutes of Meeting (MoM).

**Internal & External Communication**

Stakeholder Nature of Interaction

Internal Coordination with Estimation, Production, Purchase, Stores, and Execution teams.

External Direct interaction with Clients and Vendors.

**Educational Qualification & Experience**

Criteria Requirement

Education B.E. Mechanical

Experience Minimum 7 years in Sales, Estimation, or a similar role in the engineering or manufacturing industry.

**Key Skills & Competencies**

Strong understanding of estimation processes and sales strategies

Expertise in project costing and financial calculations

Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Ability to lead a team and manage multiple stakeholders

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Analytical and problem-solving mindset
