**Job Description - Machine Shop Supervisor**

**Position**: Machine Shop Supervisor

**Qualification**: Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Equivalent)

**Experience**: Fresher (0-1 year)

**Salary Range**: ₹18,000 - ₹23,000 per month

**Role Summary**

The Machine Shop Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operations in the machine shop, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and shop floor discipline are maintained. The role requires coordination with operators, helpers, and supporting departments while adhering to safety and 5S standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise day-to-day operations of CNC, Lathe, Auto-lath (Traub), Milling, and Drilling machines.
- Allocate tasks to operators and helpers as per the production plan.
- Monitor production output and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Conduct basic inspection of parts as per drawings using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth production flow.
- Ensure machine upkeep, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards.
- Maintain production logs, shift reports, and attendance records.
- Guide, train, and support new operators and helpers.
- Ensure proper usage of tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards immediately.

**Sub-Skills / Competencies**
- Proficiency in **report generation and presentation**.
- Good command over **MS Excel and related software**.
- Ability to **monitor productivity** and achieve set objectives.
- Strong **time management** skills.
- A proactive **team player** with leadership potential.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
