**SUMMARY**

WadhwaniAI is supporting MoE in the following domains:
AI product development: Developing products that leverage AI to improve delivery of educational services.

Our efforts are focused around:Creating tools for improving UX of eLearning platforms

Data driven governance: Augmenting MoE’s governance capabilities by setting up data-pipelines and BI practices that can enable effective governance

Policy & Programmatic support: This entails supporting the MoE (DoHE)’s programmatic and policy initiatives through research and analysis (evidence-based support for programmatic and policy decisions, drafting and reviewing speeches/concept notes/MoUs) and operational assistance (drafting concept notes, managing events, etc.)

**Location - Delhi**

Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.

We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyzing data generated by various programmatic units of the MoE to identify actionable insights to facilitate effective governance
- Analyze programmatic data to uncover historical trends and forecast key metrics to guide programmatic interventions
- Evaluate MoE’s programmatic and policy interventions to identify measures for maximizing on ground impact
- Provide operational support to the MoE leadership (e.g. drafting policy and programmatic interventions, creating concept notes and presentations when required)

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Data analysis & interpretations to generate policy insights
- Policy review and analysis for higher education in India
- Program design and framework development
- M&E framework and indicator development
- Clear communication skiils (spoken and written)
- Evidence-based advocacy
