Transaction Coordinator

Description
Provides broad tactical and operational support to transaction management professionals assigned to a corporate client account. Responsibilities include monitoring internal/external workflow to ensure clients communication and work product met high quality standards. Assists with the transaction management team's ongoing performance of multi-market transaction assignments.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Functions
- Supports Transaction Management (TM) team members with any documentation related to the transaction process flow and department reporting
- Tracks and reports upcoming lease expirations and other critical dates
- Facilitates department and commission invoicing and tracking
- Assist with department collection efforts
- Provides oversight of project file maintenance to ensure all required documentation is obtained
- Maintain accurate and up to date transaction databases and transaction files
- Acts as a liaison between departments (ie - Accounting, Transaction Management, Research, Lease Administration, Project Management)
- Assist with reporting functions - Closing/Value Add reports, KPI tracking, Transaction Reports, Production Reports, Budgets, spreadsheet formatting
- Ensures compliance and process adherence
- Monitors deadlines to ensure transaction process is completed on time
- Assist with departmental training
- Other duties may be assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or any similar combination of education and experience
Other Skills & Abilities
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor
- Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages
- Requires basic analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and operate industry specific databases and software
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, work in cross-functional teams, perform under short time frames, perform efficient resource planning, establish and maintain internal and external professional relationships and prioritize workload
Physical Requirements
- Involves work of a general office nature
- Typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a
day and may involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and
computer displays
