Factory Supervisor

**What we are looking for**

We are looking for Factory Supervisor from the furniture background who have 5+ years of experience in managing Residential and commercial interior furniture making and execution.

**Factory Supervisor responsibilities**:

- You will work closely with the lead project manager, clients and architect/building designer from the furniture design stage through to project completion.
- In this position you will act as project manager, managing design related categories including flooring, tile, paint, cabinets, plumbing and electrical fixtures, stone, fabrication.
- On some projects you will be the lead project responsible for all phases from initial client meetings, as-built drawings, permitting, and materials selections, with others you will share these responsibilities with an architect or building designer.
- Collaborate with the lead project manager to write construction proposals.
- Maintain and update the sustainable design materials library on-site.

**Skills**
- Demonstrate fluency with basic residential and small-scale commercial building materials, details and construction techniques.
- Familiarity and interest in sustainable design and materials.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- High level of organization and familiarity with typical office communication tools.
- Easily able to cultivate, build and nurture lasting client relationships.
- Works flexibly and collaboratively with building designers and architects.
- Experience in researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes.
- Strong understanding of budgets, construction schedules and fees.
- Able to create presentation books and other sales materials.

**Qualifications/experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university is preferred.
- 5 years or more experience working in the field.
