Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Machine Operation**: Operate iron sheet cutting machines (e.g., guillotine shears, plasma cutters, laser cutters) safely and efficiently.
- **Material Handling**: Load and unload iron sheets onto the cutting machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- **Precision Cutting**: Set machine controls to cut metal sheets to the required dimensions, as per work orders and blueprints.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform in-process inspections to ensure cut accuracy and quality.
- Use measuring tools, including a **micrometer** and **inch tape**, to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Identify and report any defects in the material or finished product.
- **Machine Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on the cutting machine to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to quality and operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- **Experience**: Minimum of **2 years of experience** operating iron sheet cutting or similar metal fabrication machinery.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot sheet cutting machines.
- Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings or work orders.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments like an **inch tape** and **micrometer**.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- **Work Ethic**: Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
