**Job Title**: Bakery Chef

**Job Location**: Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore

**Reports To**: Bakery Manager/ HR Manager/ Managing Director

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Baking**: Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide range of bakery products such as cakes, bread, pastries, cookies, muffins, and other desserts, following standardized recipes and methods.
- **Recipe Development**: Assist in creating and testing new recipes, improving existing ones, and incorporating seasonal or local ingredients.
- **Ingredient Management**: Monitor inventory levels for bakery ingredients (flour, sugar, butter, etc.), and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- **Food Presentation**: Ensure all baked goods are attractively decorated and presented, paying close attention to detail and aesthetics, especially for custom cakes or special orders.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure the consistency and quality of all products, making adjustments to recipes or baking techniques as necessary to maintain high standards.
- **Hygiene Standards**: Follow strict hygiene practices and maintain cleanliness in the bakery area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, in line with food safety regulations (HACCP).
- **Customer Orders**: Prepare and fulfill custom orders for cakes, pastries, and other baked goods, ensuring customer satisfaction with timely and high-quality results.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including the kitchen manager, pastry chefs, and servers, to ensure smooth and efficient bakery operations.
- **Training**: Train junior bakers and kitchen staff in baking techniques, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
- **Baking Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
