**Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation and Planning**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial limits.
- Provide cost projections throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Tendering and Contracts**:

- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and other relevant paperwork.
- Analyze and evaluate contractor bids and make recommendations for awarding contracts.
- Negotiate and agree on terms with contractors and subcontractors.
- **Project Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor project costs and track any variations or deviations from the planned budget.
- Regularly report on the financial status of the project, including cash flow forecasts and budget updates.
- Conduct cost analysis for ongoing and completed projects.
- **Cost Control**:

- Implement cost-saving measures and ensure project financial control.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project spending.
- Ensure all costs are in line with industry standards and client expectations.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential financial risks within a project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage and control project contingencies, providing advice on how to minimize risks.
- **Valuation and Payments**:

- Prepare valuations for interim and final payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- Verify and authorize payment certificates based on work progress and completed milestones.
- **Variation Management**:

- Assess and evaluate changes in project scope or design, providing cost implications for variations.
- Negotiate variations and change orders with contractors, ensuring fair pricing and budget alignment.
- **Contract Administration**:

- Handle the contractual aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Resolve contractual disputes or issues between the client and contractors.
- **Legal and Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure that projects comply with relevant building regulations, codes, and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on industry legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure all project goals and cost expectations are met.
- Provide advice and guidance to clients regarding project finances, timelines, and cost-effective solutions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Civil engineering: 1 year (preferred)
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
