**Job Description: FNB Captain**

Position: FNB Captain

Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: FNB Manager
- **Job Summary**:_

As the FNB Captain, you will be responsible for leading a team of food and beverage professionals to provide exceptional service to our guests. You will oversee the smooth and efficient operations of the FNB department, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings and exceptional customer experiences. Your role will involve supervising and coordinating the activities of the FNB team, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- **Responsibilities**:_

**1. Leadership and Team Management**:

- Lead, motivate, and inspire the FNB team, ensuring a high level of engagement and performance.
- Train, coach, and develop FNB staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain professional standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and growth.

**2. Operations Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the FNB department, including dining areas, bars, and banquet facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure an uninterrupted flow of food and beverages.

**3. Customer Service**:

- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalized service.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, beverages, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.

**4. Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and monitor effective hygiene and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and cleanliness.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
