Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Manage & Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless port-mortem and ensure effective permanent solution applied.
- Build and maintain the next generation monitoring tools for Reference Data systems focusing on intelligent alerting with a business context.
- Works with Build the Bank, GTIS, Run the bank and Operations to identify manual tasks and automate.
- Implement continuous service improvements to exceed business expectations.
- Strong communication and written skillset to engage with various senior IT stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to analyse the stability requirements for systems migrating to a new cloud-based environment.

What we’re looking for:

- Degree in information system or computer science or any equivalent
- Experience collaborating with others to solve technical problems.
- Proven experience in working with databases like Oracle, MSSQL
- Proven experience in scripting technologies like (one or more) Python, Perl/Shell, Java, PHP, etc.
- Proven experience in working with Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Working knowledge of networks, hardware (servers)
- Certified or excellent knowledge of ITIL practices.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge of or working experience in cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of IB Business - clear understanding of trade lifecycle.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience delivering automation and/or continuous improvements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
