Hybrid Working

Introduction:

- Represent PTS RTB in various business forums in India/Globally. (For all F2B and data lineage initiatives)
- Operate as per ITIL discipline and manage large transformation projects for Run the Bank (RTB).

What will you be doing?
- Manage Run The Bank (RTB) deliveries efficiently and effectively (based on ITIL Framework)
- Innovate with cutting edge Barclays approved technologies and tools to demonstrate efficiency gain by automation.
- Manage & Troubleshoot priority incidents and ensure effective permanent solution applied.
- Work with Build the Bank, GTIS, GTSM and Operations to identify manual tasks and automate.
- Communicate, Collaborate and engage with various senior Business and IT stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

- Degree in information system or computer science or any equivalent
- Proven experience in working with and troubleshooting in structured and/or unstructured databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB
- Proven experience in scripting technologies like (one or more) Python, Shell, Java, PHP, SQL, etc.
- Proven experience in working with and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys or others.
- Certified or excellent knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Good knowledge of one or more monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK etc.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge of IB Business - clear understanding of trade lifecycle with special focus on basic understanding of Prime services business, Reference Data, Settlements, Confirmations, Recon flows.
- Knowledge of DevOps and understanding of various stages of Agile Change life cycle.
- Familiar with Integration technologies like - Solace/MQ/Kafka.
- Working knowledge or clear understanding of Dockers/OpenShift and cloud technologies.
