Introduction:
- Represent Recon RTB in various business forums in UK/Globally.
- Operate as per ITIL discipline and manage large transformation projects for Run The Bank (RTB).
What will you be doing?
Manage large transformation projects for Run The Bank (RTB) which bring in optimal and efficient operation.
- Innovate with cutting edge Barclays approved technologies and tools to demonstrate efficiency gain by automation.
- Runs transformation and automation for Recon technology.
- Manage & Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate port-mortem and ensure effective permanent solution applied.
- Works with Build the Bank, GTIS, Run the bank and Operations to identify manual
tasks and automate. Chair and govern release calls.
- Strong communication and written skillset to engage with various senior IT
stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach other team members across team/region.
- Define/develop team operating model and review developments done against target
end-state.
- Drive audit calls - KPMG, BIA, interface testing etc
- Work on infra assignments for successful completion - system / DB upgrade, plan
BCM / DCR events, IAM, CSO profile management, onboard system accounts
- manage vaults, participation in infrastructure initiatives/certification etc
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in information system or computer science or any equivalent
- Working knowledge of Reconciliation process and IntelliMatch product is must have skill for the role.
- Knowledge of software programs in any of the technologies like Java, C++, C#, SQL, Python.(good to have)
- Proven experience in working with structured and/or unstructured databases like Oracle, Mongo DB, MSSQL.(any 1)
- Proven experience in scripting technologies like Shell, Perl/Python, Java Script, PHP, etc.
- Proven experience in working with Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Certified or excellent knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of Lean Control process, and various stages of Agile Change life cycle
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Knowledge of or working experience in cloud technologies.
- Familiar with big data platforms like Hadoop, ETL tools like Informatica etc.
- Knowledge of Back office process and systems in an Investment Bank
- Working knowledge of Project management tools
- Preferred to have certified in any of these technologies like AWS or Hadoop or DevOps.
