**Responsibilities**
- Achieve and maintain technical familiarity with all Guide Star NOC Customer SOW and networks.
- Accurately documenting troubleshooting completed via the ticketing systems.
- Assist with escalation for NOC team members in remote support process to resolve customer network incidents.
- Create and manage vendor support cases on customer behalf.
- Perform standard operating processes for customer support and onboarding activities.
- Maintain departmental knowledge resources.
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting on trends and activities, if requested.
- Maintain documentation and perform proactive maintenance on customer networks.
- Ensure confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

**S**
**kills we are looking for**
- Must speak English and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 2-3 years experience in an IT network support role providing service provider networking such as routing, switching, optical transport, etc.
- Experience in troubleshooting of Access platforms: FTTH, DOCSIS, Cell Backhaul, and Carrier Ethernet.
- Knowledge of CMTS, FTTH, and DSL access technologies and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of Internet technologies, e.g. IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, SIP and MGCP VoIP, BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC, VRF, RADIUS, TACACS.
- Understanding of Video product delivery, including cable television, satellite television and IPTV.
- Proficiency with VOIP Telephony preferred.
- CCNA, NET+ or equivalent associate-level industry certifications preferred.
- Ability to be assigned, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks and projects within timelines.
- Excellent customer service and professional phone presence with the ability to simplify technical information.
- Highly responsible, resourceful, accurate, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to learn; adapts and accepts increased responsibility.

**Shift**
- Full-time, 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM IST, Monday-Friday. Must be flexible and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary.

**Additional Information**- In-office, working from our Bangalore location.
