Central to the University’s vision, Placement Cell committed towards providing opportunities for students to be meaningfully engaged in the social sector and contribute to the building of a better society. The placement cell rigorously work towards building career preparedness among students, doing extensive outreach and hosting recruiting organisations on campus.

The Placement Cell is looking for an **Placement Officer.**

**Responsibilities**

1. Strategize, develop and implement annual outreach plans to find suitable recruiters for all programs taught in the University.

2. Search, identify and interface with potential recruiters to make them part of placement process.

3. Continuous interaction with and take lead from the University members in finding potential recruiters

4. Manage current associations and further build professional relationships with new recruiters by in person visits and follow communications.

5. Responsible for execution of the campus placement plan to deliver desired output

6. Continuous interaction with students and functions of university for smooth operation of campus placement

7. Student orientation and career counselling workshops / events meant for placement.

8. Mobilise and mentor students to take part in placement process and volunteer to support its operation

9. Providing on ground operational support in the placement process

10. Develop MIS upgrading the present system and utilizing the analysis to improve operation

11. Conduct research and analysis of outreach and placement data to improvise strategies of intervention.

12. Devise communication material by working closely with Communications & Engagement Team and execute online digital campaigns to maximise reach to target audience.

13. Extensive use of professional social media platforms for expanding outreach and build networks

14. Follow up with present and past recruiters to take feedback on quality of engagement of our students.

15. Representation of the University in outreach events

16. Working closely with the Placements In Charge and Head of Student Life

17. Any other tasks assigned by the placements function or university.

**Must have**:
Must have:
1. Master’s degree on Development / Social Work / Education / Economics / Public Policy / Sociology / Public Health / Public Administration / Business Administration any or equivalent from a top tier institution

2. Minimum 12 years of experience within the social sector

3. Strong relationship management skills

4. Strong inter-personal skills

5. Strong in person and online communication (oral and written) skills.

6. High level proficiency for MS Excel, MS PPT

7. Demonstrated team playing abilities.

8. Open to rigorous travels and with short notice

9. Experience in the management of professional social media platforms such as but not limited to LinkedIn,

10. Detail oriented

11. Decision making and time management.
- High Integrity
- High level of proficiency in English and Hindi

**Good to have**:
1. Connected to larger network / forum of organisations within the social sector.

2. Worked with multiple and diverse players such as NGOs, Govt agencies, thinktanks, corporates, CSRs etc.

3. Two years of work experience in university / higher education institutes for outreach / business development / branding / communication

4. Experience of conceptualising and creating effective communication material.

6. Knowledge of any regional language

**Travel**:70% of the time. Intra and Inter State

**Report to**: Placement In Charge

**Status**: Full-Time

**Salary**: As per organisational policy
