Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Chennai

Job summary
Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, billing, contract management, and financial analysis for construction projects. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that project finances are on track, through diligent cost management and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for construction projects, using engineering principles and industry standards to ensure accuracy.
Contract Administration: Oversee contract management including the preparation of tender documents, handling procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with terms.
Billing Management: Oversee and manage the entire billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to monitor project budgets, report on financial progress, and offer solutions for cost optimization.
Project Cost Control: Implement effective strategies for controlling and reducing project costs without compromising quality.
Software Proficiency: Auto-CAD, MS-Office, Bluebeam Revu, CostX, Plan Swift
Key Requirements
Experience: 1-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the real estate or construction industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field such as B.Tech/B.E. A relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools for cost estimation and project management.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
