**Position: Quantity Surveyor**

**Location: Bangalore**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications.
- Source and negotiate prices for materials and subcontractor services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and identify variances from the budget.
- Evaluate and negotiate change orders and variations to contracts.
- Provide advice on cost-saving measures and value engineering options.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all cost-related information and documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and procurement methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
