**About the role**:
You’ll own the systems that power Locus — from infrastructure and automation to CI/CD and reliability engineering. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can see the big picture, drive architectural decisions, and enable engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and smarter. You won’t just maintain systems — you’ll build leverage across teams by leading with a platform mindset and creating scalable, self-serve infrastructure.

**Role Description**:

- ** Infrastructure at Scale**
Design and evolve our cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes), ensuring availability, performance, and cost efficiency across regions and products.
- **Platform & Developer Experience**
Build internal tools and platforms that help engineers deploy, monitor, and scale their services independently — with mínimal friction and maximum confidence.**CI/CD & Release Automation**
Architect secure, fast, and scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments using tools like GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.**Reliability Engineering**
Champion observability, SLOs, and incident response practices. Drive a culture of proactive performance monitoring and resilient system design.**Security & Governance**
Integrate DevSecOps practices — from policy-as-code and automated audits to secure secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
- ** Mentorship & Thought Leadership**
Guide and mentor DevOps and SRE engineers. Partner closely with platform developers on infrastructure strategy, deployment patterns, and production readiness.

**Qualification**:

- ** Experience**:
10+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles, ideally in SaaS, product-led or scale-up environments.
- ** Cloud & Infra Expertise**:
Deep knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes (EKS), VPC networking, container orchestration, and autoscaling patterns.
- **Automation & IaC**:
Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, GitOps, and scripting (Python/Go/Bash). You automate first, troubleshoot second.**Delivery Mindset**:
Experience of running fast, secure, zero-downtime deployments at scale — and improving release velocity without trading off stability.**Reliability Thinking**:
Understanding of SRE principles, SLOs, failure domains, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).**Collaboration**:
Strong cross-functional communication. You’re as comfortable in architecture reviews as in incident retrospectives.
- ** Bonus Points**:
Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), internal platform engineering, or multi-tenant architectures.
