Our Digital Technology group provides intelligent, connected technologies to enable all Baker Hughes Product companies. As a Principal Infrastructure Architect, you will play a key role in developing and implementing deployment, automation, and monitoring strategies. You will be part of an outcome driven group where you are trusted and empowered to enhance our offerings.

As a Principal - Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for:

- Leading a small team of DevOps engineers using Agile-Scrum principles, leading devops automation efforts for critical Network & Cloud initiatives
- Engaging and coordinating with Cloud, Network and Enterprise Architecture teams. This injects automation,configuration management and functional testing existing and future deployments.
- Architecting and configuring an AWS-based and WAN Network infrastructure and integrations. Delivering Infrastructure orchestration via continuous delivery pipelines.
- Monitoring site stability, deployments, performance via event logging, metrics, alerting and eventually automated remediation.
- Learning from patterns of outages and system inefficiencies to feed back into architectural and monitoring improvements.
- Developing documentation, company standards, and operational runbooks. Mentoring team members on best practices in architecture, pipeline, configuration management.

- Have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in a STEM Major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
