You will be working as Local Division Controller and will be part of Motion Business Area for Drive Products Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Global Business Controller and will be responsible as a core member of local division management team, acting as a business partner and supporting effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, evaluating various business alternatives, and recommending the most appropriate business solutions. Leading the local division finance team and optimize financial performance of the division.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Contributing to the definition of the strategy for local division. Partnering with relevant business leader in determining strategy for area of responsibility in alignment with wider strategy and developing implementation & monitoring plan
- Translating strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets. Driving business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility. Evaluating financial implications of various strategic decisions, building scenarios and recommending actions
- Monitoring progress achieved and providing insight and analysis to support operational decision-making proactively. Identifying issues and advising management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve
- Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization and capital efficiency. Managing and closely monitoring cash flow and taking action to improve Net Working Capital. Participating and supporting special projects such as Motion 2.0 and Finance Transformation Program
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant stakeholders to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility
- Assessing business risk exposure and defining risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Ensuring that risk management processes are consistently implemented in own area of responsibility
- Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Supporting internal and external audits

**Your background**:

- Master’s in Business Administration in Finance
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant experience
- Preferred or equivalent experience in CA or ICWA discipline
- Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning & solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
