You will be working as Local Product Group Controller and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore; India. In this role you will be Reporting to Local Division Controller responsible as a business partner to the relevant business manager. Lead local Controlling teams to optimize financial performance within an assigned Division/Business Unit/Product Group/factory/site. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Active participant in the risk review process. Reviews tenders on financial, commercial and tax aspects, including financial assumptions, project cashflows; provide inputs on contractual terms & conditions and assess overall financial risks on the tenders.
- Overall governance of project profitability and financial position in the Solutions.
- Oversight over financial, commercial and tax aspects, opportunity & risk assessment process through active participation in the project review process. Provide early warning of potential risks and impacts on projects that could affect the product group’s profitability and financial position.
- Drive adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.
- Contributes to the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility, monitor progress achieved and provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Ensures timely and efficient communication with the Local Division management, Accounting Center, and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or CA qualified.
- Required 5-8 Years of experience in Controlling.
- Should have experience working in an MNC.
- Good understanding of SAP (especially FI, CO and PS modules) is required.
- Understanding of project business and complexities; experience in manufacturing / process industries environment in India highly preferable.
