As a part of the Service Operations team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

To be successful as a GTSM Application Support - RFT - Mkts Fin & Grp Treasury you should have experience with:
**Essential Skillset**:

- Orchestration / configuration of multiple tasks (some may be automated) into one complete end-to-end process or job via jBPM, Kafka, MESH, SQL, Quartz, SMTP
- Data analytics via Python, Polars Dataframes, Streamlit for data collection, transformation, and organization to conclude, make predictions, and drive informed decision-making
- GUI interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices through graphical icons and visual indicators like React, Mui for CSS
- Firm Database knowledge in Oracle and SQL server
- Experience in set of practices, tools that automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams DevOps like Gitlab, Jenkins, TeamCity, Autosys, Jira, Stash
- MI & Visualization tools like Tableau translating complex, high-volume, or numerical data into a visual representation that is easier to process. Data visualization tools improve and automate the visual communication process for accuracy and detail
- Develop scripts and automate tasks using Python, Shell, and Powershell
- Ensure secrets management and security with CSM

**Some other highly valued skills include**:

- Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Create MI & visualization solutions with Tableau,.Net, and Angular for writeback services
- Utilize Gitlab Duo for code quality and security

**Purpose of the role**

To effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations.

**Accountabilities**
- Provision of technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client of group of clients. Develop the support model and service offering to improve the service to customers and stakeholders.
- Execution of preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and utilisation of monitoring tools/metrics to identify, prevent and address potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintenance of a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities and knowledge sharing.
- Automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support and stakeholder management.
- Identification and remediation or raising, through appropriate process, of potential service impacting risks and issues.
- Proactively assess support activities implementing automations where appropriate to maintain stability and drive efficiency. Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure issues are known when they occur.
