- To carry out the germination test of all the crops seed with seed treatment chemicals. Mainly Corn, Cotton, Soybean, Bengal gram, Peanut, Paddy, Wheat, Sorghum, Bajra, Mustard, and Vegetable seeds. For a period of 3, 6 and 12 months.
- New coded Seed treatment products evaluation to confirm the phytotoxicity
- Coordination with the Formulation lab, Ankleshwar
- New ST products tech evaluation - Coded tech (One year study
- Clothianidin, Thiamethoxam, Azoxystrobin, TPM etc)
- Arranging the new seed treatment samples to Seed companies. Visiting the seed companies to confirm the compatibility of the UPL range of seed treatment products. To draw the counter samples for UPL reference. To get the feedback about the performance of the new chemicals with different varieties of the seeds. To document the report received the seed companies
- Seed companies: - Work with the seed companies and to understand the mixing partners with UPL range of ST products and to retain the colour shade for the future reference. To avoid stock returns
- Third party chemicals evaluation and finding the USP over the competition - Polymer, Zeba and Thiamethoxam
- Arranging samples to the field for the marketing demonstration and document the report on the bio efficacy
- Coordination with ARDS and PD team for the Seed treatment and to send the treated seeds to different parts of the country
- IPR coordination for the seed treatment chemicals and document data for Patent
- Kalol and Ankleshwar seed treatment chemicals germination test to rule out phytotoxicity
- Field complaints: - Sedimentation, Flocculation and Phytotoxicity of seed treatment chemicals
- Nepal, Bangladesh
- Pre shipment germination test prior to export. In the past stock return from BD was prevented with the Seed lab support
- Coordination with NPP for the seed treatment products - E.g.: - Mycorrhizae
- Custom blend compatibility - Efficacy evaluation (Other countries)
- Monitor Seed lab trials in Paper towel and Coco peat and then to field
- Documentation
- From lab to carry out the small-scale trials in Vapi and Narayan gao prior to the large-scale trials with PD
- Evaluation of in-house value-added Polymer and its efficacy
- New product launches - Ensuring the efficacy and to rule out the seed germination issue
- Testing the competitors’ products vis a vi the UPL range of products on the specific segment (eg
- Leps and SPs)
